Nursery Rhymes
Verse 1:
Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet
While the cow jumped over the moon
Along came a spider who sat down beside her
While the dish ran away with the spoon
Very pretty maids all stand in a row
While Mary quite contrary tells how her garden grows
(Chorus)
Oh nursery rhymes, I love nursery rhymes
But I just can’t sit still
When I hear Jack and Jill
I want to jump and leap
Until those missing sheep
Lost by little bow peep
Come home wagging their tail behind them.
Verse 2:
Jack jumped over a candle stick
While Humpty sat on a wall
Jack was nimble and he was quick
And Humpty took a great fall
All the kings’ horses and all the kings’ men
Stood there trying to put Humpty together again
(To Chorus)
Bridge:
Mother gooses nursery rhymes make me smile and laugh
I want to run up a hillside, jump ore a hay stack or sit on someone’s lap
Verse 3:
This little piggy ran to the market
and this little pig stayed home
Old Mother Hubbard stood a looked in her cupboard
To find her poor doggy a bone
Wee Willy Winky ran through the town
Upstairs, Downstairs in his nightgown
(To Chorus)
